Announcement Concerning The New Daniel Moore Print New Life Art, Inc. is proud to announce Daniel A. Moore's next release, Maximum Block. This masterwork in oils will document Alabama's exciting last-second field goal block that sealed its win over Tennessee on October 24 at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The artist notes, "As was the case with Desperation Block, my 1991 painting of Alabama's blocked field goal effort by Penn State, this painting is also titled after the name of the defensive scheme that was called." Guessing that the Vols were not going to attempt a fake, Coach Saban called for his "maximum block" unit-sending all 11 players after the ball. Moreover, Maximum Block is, as the artist explains, his portrayal of "... the Maximum defensive effort given, by the Maximum number of players on the field (including the Maximum size of the field-goal blocker!), in order to preserve a win of Maximum importance." For Maximum Block, we have put together a very special prepublication offer for you and your customers, including a FREE, limited edition print of the preliminary pencil drawing for Maximum Block, each personally signed by Daniel Moore and accompanied with a Certificate of Limited Edition. The artist is now working on this drawing and we will post his completed drawing on the home page of our website at www.newlifeart.com as soon as possible. The tentative target date for posting the completed drawing is November 6. We will begin shipping the free pencil drawing prints no later than December 11, so you will have them in plenty of time before Christmas. We have structured this print release to allow your customers to be able to purchase the full-sized, full-color, Maximum Block limited edition fine art prints NOW and "give" them as Christmas gifts by wrapping and giving the free pencil-drawing prints-which will serve as announcements for the forthcoming print of the painting. The suitable-for-framing pencil drawing prints of Maximum Block will be available for separate purchase at a retail price of $40.00 each, Regular Edition, and $60.00 each for Artist's Proofs. NOTE: We hope to release full-color prints of Maximum Block in January, but of course, the release date is dependent upon the completion of the painting and the production of the prints.
